My mitten project has been going on for seven years now. I make mittens. They are my gift. I give mittens to children all over the world.

My personal goal is to finish one pair of mittens per day. When I found myself falling seriously behind on this goal, I started keeping track. For the last three years, I've kept a close watch, adding one number to my goal per day, and subtracting every pair when I finish them. I decided to help keep me honest, 10 mittens ahead of my goal
